For Finland's geographical location, the Gripen is pretty good value for the money.

Not to mention the fact that it wouldn't have to maintained at Italy...I seriously hope the fighter jocks at FAF won't go for JSF.

I would love to see the Strv 122 with its 7 tonnes of extra armor included as a super heavy in the game.

Re: Why does the Finnish F/A-18C Have better ECM?

The Finnish Hornets have a much greater right to be in game than some units (see Novi Avion). I defend the Finnish Hornet's existence in game, but I disagree with its given ECM. I defend the Finnish Hornet's existence in game but I feel like if it's a balance handout unit the ECM it's given doesn't...

Re: Why does the Finnish F/A-18C Have better ECM?

Cuz it's from the future Last time I checked, 1995 was still in timeframe: http://areena.yle.fi/1-3625491 From the FDF thread: "By the 80's, USA no longer had a problem in selling arms to Finland, but instead actively tried to promote some nato countries into doing so as well. in 1989 the USA ...

Re: Will the fuel system be retained?

Getting rid of fuel is a good solution, as the system never worked well with the range scaling of Wargame.

In reality I'm referring to a single instance against a competent Russian team. It was infuriatingly effective. Pratically it's just one superheavy at a time.

Re: Strong/Viable Nations, Meta

Even with smoking the superheavies, it will scream for ATACMS or Smerch. +170 +170 +170 Never stack superheavies. Both counters are rather easy to avoid, see the part of keeping them on the move. And naturally you'll split them occasionally when necessary. As far as competetive Conquest teamgames g...

Re: Strong/Viable Nations, Meta

3-stack of superheavies, light mortar, some recon for spotting and AA + ASFs to counter heloes and ATGM planes. Use Entente with Modernas for maximum dankness, but any superheavy stack will do. Keep 'em smoked, pop in and out of the cloud cover to kill targets with one salvo, and keep your land batt...

Re: What's happening behind the iron curtain?

The "beef" I have with WW2 communities is... well, the people that frequent them. Just you wait. Within 3 days of announcement, the new game subforum will be flooded by quality references like "Tigers in the Mud", "History Channel", etc. I have my Wehrabingo ready at a...
