Re: Faustmann Balance Mod Announcement

Thanks for the answers. We try to avoid having objectively worse / better IFVs for the same price, especially if they are effectively the same vehicle. Balance-wise it's a good goal, but it's pretty hard to avoid that in the useful IFV cost range. And if AV differences don't count, aren't different ...

I somehow missed the earlier cost buff for T-72M1s. But what about the rest of the FDF suggestions? Yes, no, not compatible with your vision?

Re: Faustmann Balance Mod Announcement

Good stuff in DLC nations balance. One question though: Are the E-German BMP-2 and Finnish BMP-2 now both similar to Obr.1986 BMP-2s, or was the change for Finnish BMP-2 made with the general balance in mind? The card availability for base Panssarijääkäri is not standardized atm, cant check that fro...

Re: Finnish Spike missile out of time frame.

Perhaps oddly, I'd almost prefer the Sisu AMOS to the Terra. No weird precedents, just the widely-accepted Wargame magic time-travelling units. I'd still be more plausible than the current Swedish variant, as the XA-185 testbed vehicle was ready after the original BV 302 proto. Not to mention that ...

Re: Finnish Spike missile out of time frame.

I'm sorry to have to do this because I really love the way that Finland has been put together but (I think)... No, not at all. Sorry for the delayed answer, I must have initially missed this post as the thread moved to other directions. TELAKRH 71 Yes, the Terra with a mortar in the back. The estab...

Re: Finnish Spike missile out of time frame.

The problem I see in this statement is the following: You don't buy weapons systems like you buy Baguettes at your local bread shop. There is an extensive acquisition phase, and the weapons are not delivered all at once. It takes months, even years, to order such supplies. Even with crash programs....

Re: Finnish Spike missile out of time frame.

Now we have a timeline so tweaked that somehow Finland gets the budget to finance and acquire every single of its projected acquisitions even though the financial and political parameters don't add anymore. Read the previous answers if you want to actually discuss this matter, please. For the 5th t...
