Re: Ranked system

handicap isnt the solution... if you haven't played a game with a rank system that goes up and down, i do understand that it would be hard to understand. the only handicap needed is that if a higher rank player playes - because of wait time - a lower rank player, the higher rank player will only ga...

Re: Ranked system

Auto-handicap system sounds interesting, though very tricky to make balanced such that you don't have the worse player constantly winning. But if one player is constantly winning, the system obviously needs to reevaluate that players handicap. The problem arises when players don't play very often, ...

Re: Ranked system

The stratification of players based on skill is good in theory, novices can slug it out with eachother and the veterans play for themselves. The problem is if there are not enough veterans to go around resulting in very long waiting times. A good way around this is to make everyone competetive again...

Re: the unit discussion thread

It is difficult to do fixed wing aviation in a game such as this without completly breaking immersion or gameplay. The reason for this is that the operational area provided is inadequate to fight any sort of airwar. A fighter of the day would operate at altitudes corresponding to half the length of ...

Re: Why not get some stuff out there?

I hope they fix all the things we complained about. Especially the things we complained about repeatedly. And to be even more specific: I hope they fix the things I complained about.
