Re: US unit inaccuracies/ wrong weapons/armor

This does not match what I have read about the M249 on this forum and elsewhere. M249 did not replace the M60 during the timeframe of this game. It was a replacement for the "dedicated rifleman" that previously were using the same rifle as the rest or if they used one with autofire disabl...

Re: US unit inaccuracies/ wrong weapons/armor

I'd like to hope that the US inaccuracies would be fixed, especially in the infantry department. But I also have to be realistic.

Realistic in terms of Wargames expectations so far has been honhonhon.

Re: US unit inaccuracies/ wrong weapons/armor

They made this big deal about the USSR and US being these ultra powerful coalitions unto themselves, and then made the USSR a fantasy land of fanboy wetdreams, while neglecting anything that actually entered service, while the US outside of weapon systems that were outside of scale, has largely been...

Re: War Thunder

Even with no reliability problems, the thing will be slow as hell (13mph), the side armour is flat and thin enough, the turret traverse rate will be awful, its silhouette is too high, the rate of fire on the 128mm is awful, and the thing will be bomber bait. I prefer medium tanks to heavies so I am...

Re: US unit inaccuracies/ wrong weapons/armor

We all know that the Soviets were the premier air power of the Cold War. The USAF hid behind the Typhoon and Rafale masterrace. We'd have bought the Rafale, but unlike what hollywood would have you believe, Americans cannot use the ennui powered flight controls, or handle the cheese-wine mix...

Re: US unit inaccuracies/ wrong weapons/armor

Just to stop in: The Bradleys getting the proper TOWs is something that really must, but never will happen. While there was compatibility for the older model TOWs in newer M2/M3s, this was something never done outside of "well, this here stack of I-TOWs are about to expire, we're going to use t...

Re: War Thunder

I get that, I'm just saying the Maus is a step even below that. There's nothing redeeming about it in any context.

Re: War Thunder

Yeah but the AC-130 has military value, it is just a specific tool for a specific job. The Maus was a moronic example of how the Germans get too much credit for being smart or efficient. Big difference between a tool for a job and a strong competitor for worst tank idea ever.

Re: War Thunder

I've always thought people who wanted to play the Maus to be either ignorant about how bad it was or the kind of person who would pay a woman to kick them in the gentitals.

Re: KKK and Veterans: VICE Reports

Its just not a terribly common belief that hawaii should lose statehood and return to more or less a territory or protectorate status. Guy also had like fiddy Hawaiian flags in his room and intentionally spoke the weird semi pidgin that Hawaii used to use when he could get away with it. He was an ok...
