Most of the AP 30 missile throwers, especially the double-tappers are painfully single target optimized as well, aren't they? They can be nice to have to pick big tanks out of pushes, but when it's four M1A1s instead of two M1A2s it's a bit harder to pick the superheavies out and cripple a push.

Bit of design philosophy here. Because tank prices are multiples of five, there are tanks that are definitely more powerful than others at the same price point. I'll be using the Scandinavians because they've got a lower end full of Centurions, which means tanks in the same price spot that really ar...

It is. No other changes to infantry as of yet, just tanks and vehicles that happen to have a gun like tanks.

The guns are an integral part of the soldiers' model, thus not easily swappable, IIRC. So don't get your hopes too high. If they're trying to use it as a proof of concept for a balance concept, they really really probably don't want to do that. That'll make it more work to tell the effect of their changes at a glance.
