Re: Revert Napalm launcher nerf!

Has anyone actually thought what will happen if the scaled variable is removed? As far as the ability to cause damage is concerned, infantry will be wholly dependant upon the number of men and the weapons they carry. Your 'special forces' will now become just as mundane as everyone else. I'm going ...

Re: Revert Napalm launcher nerf!

Motostrelki have the stats of a five point infantry unit that nobody would take because their transports are too expensive.

Kill the vet damage multiplier, undo the nerf, and figure out a way to make Soviet infantry that isn't Spets viable.

Re: REDFOR advantages

The Chinese HJ-9 is a 25 AP missile with three vehicles to carry it total in a deck that is basically there to sub in for the entire compliment of Blufor counters to superheavy tanks. It's the only thing that can four shot or better a Chally 2 in a Red Dragon deck (assuming the MiG-21 misses its tar...

Re: Are the Blackhawk and S-70 too expensive?

The S-70 is certainly too expensive. The Blackhawk maybe is too...the problem is that if you reduce the Blackhawk's price by 5 points to 20, it's only 5 points more expensive than the Twin Huey...which means you get two mini-guns, more hit points, and much better speed for only 5 points. This is ki...

Re: SEAD and ASF price Comparasion

And really, sniping weak units? That can be done with cheaper units. Does the fact that it may not be the most efficient use of a vehicle detract from its added value? I think not. This is the problem that I have with most peoples arguments regarding REDFOR TGMs on both sides. They argue as if the ...

Re: Are the Blackhawk and S-70 too expensive?

Honestly the biggest players in early game air rushes are packing HE 6 anyway, so the HP isn't much of an advantage. If the HP pool of your helicopter comes up then there's a pretty good chance that it's not enough. The biggest problem is that it's useless for US heliborne because nothing that can t...

Re: Are the Blackhawk and S-70 too expensive?

Yep, the US only has weird options for fast infantry that don't really work that end in them pretty much getting priced out of helicopter rushes. Their best bet seems to be running two or so squads of light riflemen and hoping they can hold on or running cheap helicopters behind a screen of supercob...

Re: Are the Blackhawk and S-70 too expensive?

I think blackhawks and s70 need a card increase as well. It's not vietnam anymore, I think the US could use a well needed buff to its air assault capability. Hueys are just awful, and its not like blackhawks are anywhere near OP anyway. They don't even really have infantry that can take them and be...
