Re: Charleston Church Shooting.

Night torch march! Black uniforms!! Stalhelm!!! Armband!!!! --> all things screaming SS to ... well everybody I guess. The uniform is blue, the helmet is plastic and shaped like a standard PASGT helmet, and it is not a march (unless you count moving from the barracks to the place of the ceremony as...

Re: German Army discovers that G36 is not accurate after firing

They refuse to publish the test documentation. Many assume the testing methods were flawed - which seems like a good guess considering the leaked content suggests they compared the G36 to an LMG.

Re: Charleston Church Shooting.

Well I associate the colors with Monarchy WW1, Colonisation and Genocide, leaving out any connection to Nazis...whta positive value is there? That is what you associate with it. If you limit your perception of Prussian and Imperial German history to monarchy, colonization, and genocide, you natural...

Re: Charleston Church Shooting.

Fringes are fringes and rarely influence anything, at least here. Taking the Confederate flag off government buildings strips it of the veneer of state authority it's somehow managed to pick up. It shouldn't be banned, but there's a big difference between banning something and taking it off a state...

Re: German Army discovers that G36 is not accurate after firing

So no more information about a replacement? Lol, no. As I expected nothing really happened. The statements of the MoD were vague anyway: "The G36 has no future in the present configuration". I still wonder when the future will begin... Anyway, there is almost no chance that a new rifle wi...

Re: Charleston Church Shooting.

Well the flag does wake some memories, bad ones... a good comparison imo is this flag http://i.imgur.com/rjVZoGV.png?1 It is a good example what happens when the middle of a society gives up a symbol and leaves it to the fringes to occupy it. These colours are flown by extreme right wing parties now...

Re: Warschauer Pakt

NSWP is fine. Nothing fancy, nothing bad. It just gets the job done. If some new coalitions are made, I hope EUG has the courage to dare some Red Dragon+NSWP pairings. While historically questionable at best ( though not entirely impossible ), it would help Redfor's gameplay without getting as OP as...

Re: JSDF Ranger are specialforces?

For example, Jägers and Panzergrenadieres should have their training levels swapped That is a common misconception on this forum, mostly based on the present day situation. In the Cold War however, the Jäger were the most numerous infantry formations. To make matters a little more complicated, Jäge...

Re: new units in german deck

My suggestion:

Gebirgsjäger
    - 15 men strength, shock training, light infantry;
    - wheeled transports, helos
    - G3KA4, CG M2, l.MG3 (all of them are in game)

That is out of timeframe if Wiki is correct. (Unlike the PzH 2000; in this case the English Wiki is incorrect, as the PzH 2000 has completed its army trials in 1995).
