Re: Why do 7,62mm LMGs destroy IFVs?

BMP-1/2 armor can't even resist to 7.62. I don't say they can get destroyed by such weapons, though..

Su-25A was also able to carry S-25L laser guided rockets. :) I doubt that Kh-25ML can be compared to Mavericks since it is laser guided (so no fire and forget), is less manoeuvrable, has shorter range (around 4/5nm, 7nm for the Maverick), however his payload is bigger than most of the Mavs (except M...

Re: Discuss planes loadouts!

It has a gyroscopic flight (it turns around its target) so it accumulates the drift. More wind = more drift = more trajectory errors to compensate, so less accuracy..

Re: Discuss planes loadouts!

Also, that would be great to add a prototype mention to the Ka-50 since only 12 were built, and they were all different from each others (plus the -Sh and -N major modification).

Re: Discuss planes loadouts!

UPK-23 pods (more hyperlink text!). The 2A42 cannon of the Ka-50 is not pylon mounted. Yeah but Havoc pilots were trained to always ripple fire two missiles per target which makes it roughly equivalent to the 8 Hellfires and TOWs carried by the American gunships. Same with the 9A4172 Vikhrs. Each V...

Re: SAMs - ideas more more realism

But (sorry for being coriaceous  ) isn't it possible to inspire of command vehicles ? e.g a CV in a zone triggers the ability to call reinforcements - by the same way, the presence of FCR would allow TELs to fire (even if no LOS from the radar). __ if the answer is a final no, then too bad....
