Re: SAMs - ideas more more realism

Even with simplified systems ? I'm not asking for complete batteries (10+ vehicles for Hawks) but the fact that an operational launcher would require the presence of at least one FCR.

Hi all, As noticed in WEE, the great drawback of SAMs is the lack proper radar dedicated vehicle. As you may now in real life, SAMs batteries are composed with many vehicles -the launchers are just then end part of the chain. I would love to see some improved SAM batteries. You think HE shells can start a fire on water IRL? :?

Guess not since explosive material used in shells consumes immediatly after the ignition, whereas napalm (which is fuel) doesn't.

Re: Why is the BMPT in the game?

BMP-T project started in the 80s, and you may have noticed that the armament layout is not the same than the today's BMP-T at all. Maybe a early prototype or plan.

EDIT: guyN7 was faster :)

Re: Discuss planes loadouts!

Oh, you can be quite sure I have informed MadMatt of their typical loadout on several occasions, in addition to suggestions regarding what their capabilities would be (with regards to W:EE stats, anyway). But I think I heard madmat saying they don't want another hi-end gunship which is not th...

I'm not sure this loadout (it seems to be Shturms pods) is the best you can choose; Ka50s were mainly fitted with Vikhrs (even if almost not used in combat..), in pods of 6.

Re: Discuss planes loadouts!

In what year does WALB take place ? It can deeply alter loadouts of many planes, especially for F-16C ('80s was an important decade for the Falcon: introducing of the -C version Block 25; later Blocks such as 30 and 40 were developped from 85 to 90 basically).

Re: W:AB Planes you want !

Su-24M, Tu-22M, Ka-29VPNTsU (Ка-29ВПНЦУ) observation/commanding helicopter (used during Chechnya and Georgia), and also Ka-50 (even if only 12 produced, all being different).
