Re: Games I am officially EXCITED about.
.... As a player of KSP I find that space video offensive and I keep expecting them to fall downwards as they don't seem to have any horizontal velocity. And no, it still does not make me want to play COD again. Here's a KSP challenge, make an orbital fighter... Something to vertically boost to orb...

Re: Games I am officially EXCITED about.
I am intrigued by the Call of Duty campaign, if it does follow the overall structure given in early previews, a Top Gun fantasy. In a great show of irony, this is a publisher making Star Citizen, probably just as Star Citizen finally fails. Also, did anyone see the switchblade fighter in the trailer...

No, the rest of the presentation. Haven't seen where that presentation is. Also, I'm very intrigued about the choice of CEP. I found their general presentation on the -12, that slide's in it. https://fas.org/issue-brief/b61-life-extension-program-increasing-nato-nuclear-capability-precision-low-yie...

Re: Cold War-3
Where did that come from? The FAS, and I think the bunkers are secret, not the bomb. I remember all the talk 10-15 years ago of super-hardened mini-nukes to crack bunkers. I guess they just decided to harden a big one instead. No, the rest of the presentation. Haven't seen where that presentation i...

Say hello to the B61-12, the secret underground bunker remover. I wonder where those would be deployed first, my bet is ROK and Turkey.

Re: Cold War-3
Is Zircon a rocket or scramjet powered missile? I have seen any solid open sources, but the mainstream view is that it uses a solid fuel rocket booster for the first stage and then scramjet for the sustainer. The allegedly related tests in 2011-2012 conducted from a Backfire test bed were using boo...

They've already tested the full system, launch to hypersonic transition and back?

http://ria.ru/defense_safety/20160317/1391446801.html Tests of new hypersonic AShM - Zircon began. Zircon is stated for use on the Kirov class (all 3 ships, after the refits) and now for the new SSN class, currently in development. Most likely it would be availiable to all platforms with UKSK VLS, ...

Re: Cold War-3
Rumors are running that North Korea is planning a possible nuclear test or missile test. A major step forward would be the KN-08 missile, which is possibly road mobile. Even if it isn't an intercontinental missile, a road mobile missile would give North Korea a survivable strike deterrent against So...
