I think enemy equipment is more something fancy stuff like Lorraine with 10,5cm guns and other captured french stuff used by the Wehrmacht

I think they surrender like the same mechanic as in Close Combat. If the veterancy/experience is not high enough, the more fire they are prone to, the faster they are willing to surrender and are out of the game. No bonus for the enemy, except no more losses or losing ammo etc.

For Wargame, this Phase-System could also be a viable choice in the future for a remastered European Escalation
