Re: Im tired with all this "micro-micro" and stupid interfac

The main difference in earlier versions was the stress effect. Units very rarely rout under pressure, which means they behave more efficiently. This was one of the more innovative aspects of Wargame, but it made battles rather long-winded and scrappy. I quite enjoyed destroying stunned Leopard 2s a...

More maps. I can make it easier: ports of the maps from WEE and ALB. This game is being slowly asphyxiated by a lack of further map choices.

I couldn't agree more. I am by no means a "top" player in this game, but constantly running into min/max types, pubstompers, and other assorted creatures gets exhausting pretty quickly.

Re: One piece of advice for rookies.....

Look replays. ^ This. As someone who's been onboard with this series since European Escalation, I shudder to think of the learning curve newcomers face at this point. There is a solution, and it's actually lots of fun! I'd recommend rookies check out Raven's Wargaming videos on youtube. There's inv...

Re: Minor nation only games

Joined yesterday, before the thread blew up with anticipation. I've been around since the WEE days, but stepped away from actively playing WRD a while ago. After a long break, I'm just now starting to shake off the dust and get back into fighting shape. Looking forward to some matches with y'all, ch...

Re: A-10 model

A-10: -Model is correct -It is criminally undermodeled -It should receive more ECM and/or another weapon I couldn't agree more. I'd even like to see the A-10 receive a bit of a weapons change or even a ground spotting bonus to reflect its specific role and the focused training 'Hog pilots receive. ...

Re: Darkmil's and Anto-Shturmovik's Reskins

Beautiful work Darkmil! The skins coming from the modding community are one of the primary reasons I'm still playing RD.

Looking forward to more of these, they add so much to the game IMO. 8-)

Re: Your Wargame Needs You!

With the Wargame franchise on Steam weekend sale and back in the top ten sellers chart atm, I feel that this is our opportunity as a community to stop whining about declining player numbers and look to keep the new players playing. If you think Wargame is getting stale, mix it up a bit and challeng...

Re: New version (v339)

happy to know these patches will keep chugging away ^ This, indeed. Thanks for continuing to refine the game Eugen! Looking forward to the upcoming balance patches when they're fully baked and ready for consumption. Keep the ninja changes coming, they make things even more interesting!
