Re: Christmas maps

They said they've tried it but it wasn't looking too great, with white terrain, white trees, and white camo. Re: How did you first start Wargaming?

Well, I cut my teeth on the Close Combat series, starting in 1996. Still play the new iterations of them with friends here and there. The new release versions of Close Combat IV and V are fairly fantastic for online play. I think of the Wargame series as a spiritual successor to them, but nobody's m...

Re: Elite infantry should be immune to the new crash damage

If the helo is high up in the air yeah they will die, but if it is low and landing the men should live. I'll just leave this here... "a quick reaction force helicopter sent in for their aid was subsequently shot down with an RPG-7 rocket propelled grenade by one of Shah's men, killing all on b...

I like this post. No reason for some folks to be so harsh, this is a fascinating slice of history.

I've read about the Davey Crockett before. Always wondered how much of a dose the folks firing it received? Such a bat insane idea for a weapon, but such was the '50s ;)

Do it against No Unit or WTF... repeatedly... then you have the right to post 10 topics about it. Right? What right? Do we need t...
