I just spend 80 minutes beating the ever-loving **** out of three opponents after all my allies left one such game.
I wasn't nearly paid enough to put up with this ****.

The key to these games is basically having more income then your opponent. It's same as admin wars in RUSE.

Isn't the Min Range like 5KM on MRLS ? It's kind of hard to hose a blob charging a defensive position with it.
Unless it's set up in a second defensive position further back - which means more infantry will be needed to defend it, ect, ect.

Tigga, the complexity are client-side. Players tend to have ridiculously powerful computers. Players can decide if the feature is worth the CPU power. There's also the issue of performance, which I don't know if anybody has mentioned. I can't say for sure, obviouosly, but I'd imagine one of the biggest CPU sinks in this game is "can unit A see/shoot unit B". The larger you make sight ranges and the larger unit density is the bigger this...

I think the OP is suggesting that we no longer get info about our units being visitble when in cover. There should definately be a prompt telling us we're in cover, but it shouldn't go away if the enemy can see us from an unseen position, as how are we to know? Dead on. This is what I mean. Keep it...
