Re: Chieftan rof

Milan 2s and Stormers? Although I do admit it could use a bit of refinement, but the Lynx 3 and Harrier GR.7 fit the bill pretty nicely. and to a lesser extend AA. Wat. Tracked Rapiers and Tracked Rapier FSAs are like some of the best medium range missile systems in the game, they fire off 8 missil...

Re: The British Army (Circa 1995)

Swingfire also had a massive warhead, 7kg of explosive!

For reference, Tow had 4kg and Tow 2 6kg, so it would be a massive big bang at the very least.

Re: The British Army (Circa 1995)

More modern AH-64Ds have certain upgrades making it equal or superior to the WAH-64, as both even in 2000 had ECM and flares Except for the engines. Brits made a smart choice when they fitted their own engines into the WAH-64. But not the transmission, which was rated to the original less powerful ...

Re: The British Army (Circa 1995)

For war game purposes, the differences between WAH-64 and AH-64 are nil, ECM has a minimal effect at best for heli's. The requirement for a helicopter was put out for tender in 1993, i agree if the cold war was still going it would not have been difficult to pop over to boeing and buy a few off the ...

Re: Infantry were ruined by the Vet nerf and were never fixe

Special forces should be special, not regular battlefield infantry.

The patches make things much more interesting rather than having everything spetzed into oblivion.

Re: The British Army (Circa 1995)

I use them as cover for my eurofighters. 4 7000 range per card is something no other nation has i think?

Su27PU's light up the F2's, Eurofighters following behind target both Su's. Magical!

Re: The British Army (Circa 1995)

Used as a defensive pillbox, its got a good punch for its price. The only negative is if you are losing the fight its defenceless reversing! Still, 6 rate of fire just makes it overpriced like the chieftain in my view, should be 105 points maybe 100 in my view because of that. Its still 19 AP with ...

Re: The British Army (Circa 1995)

Ordinary warriors work as well, just not as survivable. With plenty of AA around to dissuade ATGM planes Challenger Spam works well, especially with the medium T72's everyone is liking to put out in this meta!

Re: My BALs exploded!

Seen it where a ship blows up as the ASM's are firing, the missiles go haywire and destroy their own launchers!
