I wish I could go back in time and play EE when it was in its prime time.

All those feels I remember, I'll never feel them again....

I'm honestly thinking of going back. RD is just getting too cheesy for me. The Wargame series has unfortunately gone in a direction away from EE.

I agree only about maps beeing awesome. The rest was just sad to me, and lack of Airplanes on the modern battlefield was just too apparent. If I have to say... I only remember Rushes and stalemates from that game.

OOOOOOOOOOHHHHH and I more thing xD ARTY SPAM!!!! Arty that was just shooting without end on your spawn and your roads and your buildings.

Also, ATGM everywhere. No wonder people called it ATGM Escalation.

I never want to come back to EE again.

Depends on the point of view. I think they were a cool addition, but like any addition, the exploits are bound to be found and abused.

Yeah, they are "cool", but trying to enhance the "cool factor" with less emphasis on tactics seems to be part of the downfall of the series.

Thing is, immediate call in for ground attack aircraft really killed it for me and many people I know. They just aren't that readily available. The US and its allies are bombing ISIS right now; imagine if every time an ISIS squad or vehicle revealed itself a US jet was already inbound towards it? It just doesn't work like that. These things are planned.

Also the drastic accuracy increases for many units, the almost immediate aim and fire time for almost everything across the board, some aspects of the deck system... all tries to enhance the "cool factor" without adding to the strategic or tactical depth of the game.
