Looking for a W:RD team buddy

Postby pyrr » Wed 6 Aug 2014 20:55

I don't know if this is the right place to ask, but I am looking for someone to play together with me as a team.
Currently, none of my friends play Wargame, and I think it's much more interesting if you can team up, create appropriate/complementary decks and tactics. However, I'm not a fanatic Wargamer so we could just team up and play straight away ;)

I'm a rather mediocre player but I have a few hundred hours of Wargames (all 3) played.
I speak German, English and French fluently (well, mostly...) and I live in the CE(S)T timezone.
If you're interested or if you have suggestions on how to find buddies, feel free to write here or drop a PM.
You should be at least 18 years old and know the basic rules of respectful human interaction. Also, nationalists are not welcome.

See you on the battlefield!

Same name in game, add me, and I have comms to coordinate with as well. TS3 incase you don't already have it.

I like tactical low point or era based games where you don't have OP Steamroller fest every game.

If you're still looking I'd be happy to team up as well - Val Halla is the ID in game and I'm not brilliant but i do give it a good go.

Dear OP,

A few tips on getting friends to play with.
-Not that I've seen ill effects from it, advertising on the forums doesn't seem like that great of an idea.
-Play the game and be a team player. Help people out and speak often, good pubbies will likely throw you a friend request (along with bad pubbies who want someone who can carry them, trust me, check their skill before accepting the request). You should also be liberal with the add friend ability as well, throw out friend requests to all the people you meet that you would be interested in playing with again.
-Join a TS. The best idea by far IMO, you get voice chat and a bunch of (mostly decent) players you can team up with.

You might consider Devious Old Gamers. Laid back group. Teamspeak. Just post an introduction on our forums and get on TS with us. Lots of fun.

Hello, if you're still looking for people to play wqith I'd be happy to team up, playing with random people is getting too frustrating. Seydlitz is my ID and i guess i am nothing special but a good team player. I need more people as friends online cause I want to avoid the lottery that is random teammates.
So there it is...
