Yeah, it is pay-walled unfortunately, cuz Taylor & Francis. The only way you could get access is through a University that pays for a Taylor & Francis subscription.
The article is pretty incredible. It reads like a satire, but it is real.
It reeks of a conclusion in search of evidence, and the author didn't even cherry-pick evidence very well because he has an exceptionally poor understanding of the history of colonialism.
I'm starting to think that we need to bring back slavery...
but only enslave all of those who think that shit like this is a good idea. Let's see how awesome they think Neo-Nazism or colonialism is after they've spent 30 years under brutal conditions as a slave. No working in the Big House for them or some sort of "soft slave" job, make sure all of them are working the mines or something equally harsh. Naturally such a thing would be impossible to do, but if it was possible I think inflicting onto people who think stuff like this is a "great idea" would have a bit of a wakeup call and maybe even start to question the wisdom of their life choices.
Of course, some
far too many already think "reverse Nazism" is a thing, because muh white genocide
, so I guess my idea is pretty flawed from the get go.
