Well, I think I've seen longer Buffel, maybe this is a shorter variant.

Can't you chop off the Vatel's turret even if it gets a small one?

Couldn't find anything of a longer version.

Well, at that point I might as well do the same to a SKOT which actually has eight wheels.

Maybe there's a command version of a BTR I can use...

Well, found something that works (I think). We'll see when they arrive.

Now I'm looking for an acceptable replacement for this unit.

Perhaps PBV302, i think scotia had some. The K63 from ghq might do, maybe the LVT-5. Maybe you could go extra step and drill a hole into the tops and mount an m60a2 or zsu-57 /w tow missile glued to the side.

Well, despite appearances, that is not a turret on top. It's fixed. Granted, if I could find a turret large enough to basically cover the top of the unit and then glue it in place, that'll work too.

The PBV 302 might work, but Scotia doesn't have it; they haven't got any Swedish units.

So apparently a new edition of WH40k has been out for a hot minute and I just now realized it. I managed to acquire a copy of the new BBB from a buddy, and...

is it just me, or are a lot of the rules missing? O_o

Well, there's always the new BattleTech manual.

Granted, it's missing some rules too; rules for vehicles, VTOLS, infantry and aerospace. But that's the point; it focuses on what most people play anyway, the mechs. Much more streamline and better laid out, plus it has some Advanced rules from the (thicker than original full Total Warfare rules) Tactical Operations book.

Well I'm not about to get invested in a whole new gaming system when I'm already knee deep in 40K, so...

I'm sure I remember talking about 8th Ed with you?

But some of the more over-complex rules have been removed.
