This Touhou remix song managed to calm me down when I was enraged thinking about the tributary policies of my country, it requires a special kind of douchebaggery to put a tribute over an independant worker savings.

Re: The Music Thread
I listen to alot of late 60's & 70's blues/rock,80's metal,90's metal, some punk,some alternative
favorite music is probably 80's metal and blues..
I also play music and have been doing so for a bit. I'm not much of a song writer but I do write the occasional "bad ass riff".. Mainly I play covers of songs and solos and occasionally Ill write a solo
(was debating on making a separate thread for what follows but decided against it)
My GEAR:
(to those if any that are familiar with music equipment or just interested.)
- 2001 Made in India (MII) Jackson DK 2. This guitar that has been electronically modded by me with 3 mods + I added a 1979 TTOP humbucker that came out of a lespaul.I also changed some of the hardware as well. The guitar rarely goes out of tune,NEVER breaks a string and sounds really smooth.. I bought it for 270 at a pawnshop in 2010. On as side note.. The TTOP pickup alone goes for 250 to 300 on ebay. I figure I doubled its value with the mods and pickup swap. But ill never sell it as It plays/sounds really well.. in essence... It is perfection.
-~2007 ESP m107. a budget 7 string guitar that stays in tune and plays ok but sounds muddy. No doubt because of the cheap pickups..Bought it at a pawnshop and paid a tad too much IMO.. paid $250 and IMO.. it was worth a solid $200.. but it played well enough so I bought it.. Besides, I wanted a 7 string and this one was descent enough.. I have drawn up a wiring diagram for some mods for this guitar.. just no funds atm
-1985 Gibson SG Special w/ EMG 85 & H pickups. Bought the guitar used in ~92 for $350
-1989 Randall RG 100es..paid $949 back in ~1990. This amp is a top of the line solid state amp when it came out and is reputed to be one of the best of its kind... Its sorta uncommon now as it has been discontinued back in the early 90's but still can be found on ebay for 3 to 500..Diamondback darrel of Pantera,Vivian cambell of Dio and many others have used this model of amp.
-early 2000 Peavey 412 MS...The power handling capacity is 320 watts @4 ohms or 160 watts @ 8 Ohms which is average for this type of cabinet. bought it a few years at a pawnshop for 200..nothing special.. nothing spectacular
-ART SGX 2000.. Early 90's tube preamp and effects processor.. Sounds descent for its age and was cutting edge when it came out. Bought it from a pawnshop for 200 back in february. Didnt have a need for it but i wanted it..
-1987 PRO CO RAT pedal.. my 1st distortion pedal and sounds pretty good. Very simplistic but sometimes thats the best. Been meaning to mod it but just havent gotten around to it..Primarily I use it with the 35 watt PA amp as the Randalls distortion is one of the best I have ever heard
-GCB-95 Crybaby Wah
-Radio Shack MPA 40 35 watt PA amp.. I use this ever so often as its the most portable amp I own. Cleans sound pretty good.. when I effects to it.. not the greatest but it works ion a pinch
-Early 70's Woodson 212 speaker cabinet.. 1 is in front and the other is on the far right beside the wall
-2 BULLFROG unloaded PA cabinets.. they hold a 12" a piece.. atm, im just using them as a platform for my amp and guitars.. The cabinet sounds better when it is raised + it just looks kool to have my guitars/amp raised
I also record/practice guitar with my PC and a program called Guitar Rig 4 or 5 too.

favorite music is probably 80's metal and blues..
