I agree, but look at the bright side: It's a bunch of people that will not wage war against one-another. As such, it's good.

Eh, it'll be interesting to see whats happens and how good the Russians will be at predicting what level of international involvement might happen if they would roll into parts of Ukraine. From the Russian perspective, they probably could pull off limited operations considering most of their high quality troops and equipment (VDV etc..) has already been active/on alert for the Olympics and should be in a decent state of readiness.

Frankly, I doubt the West would intervene much other then throw a hissy fit at Russia and then move on. At least in the US, it doesn't get too much coverage and a lot of people would be challenged to find where Ukraine is on the map.

Russia's sent tanks into Ukraine? Sheeeeeeet
A brilliant plan from the dirtiest euro-hippie: get US players to pay me for a game that I then show them how much their military sucks so I can feel better about being a communist.

I'm sure we will send Putin a strongly worded letter about this.

Evidently this is not the case considering the bloody awful struggle Ukrain just went through trying to move away from Russia.

It would be sadly ironic if World War 3 started this year.

NATO is just the way the US justifies their presence in Europe. A coordinated action wasn't possible during the Cold War and even less possible today.
