What will AoA be like? What era, how will the gameplay play out?

By the looks of it I think it will be similiar to R.U.S.E's gameplay (base building) set in the present. Or "Act Of War" with "Wargame's" graphics. I could be wrong of cource.

I'm sure this is not a step back but an attempt to make RTS-with-base-building using all new technologies Eugen developed during the work on WG.

Raymond - I'm excited to see what happens if you combine Base Building with Iris Zoom scale maps.

If the bases are sized like towns on some of the larger Red Dragon maps, that'd be a very unique game.

Also, Iris Zoom is the best RTS engine in the market right now, anything on that will look great.

It seems to me that some people missed the point that AA is not a Wargame title but rather a completely different franchise.
