[Non-included nation] ITALY

Postby [EUG]MadMat » Fri 2 May 2014 14:06

Due to this discussion, I have dugged out some old army lists made for ALB while we were thinking of the next instalment's setting: North, South ... or more Germany.

So, I'm posting here the early lists made then, to get an overall picture of what every considered country would look like. It is a quick/first draft, have been refined, completed, corrected, ... more thoroughfully later had the countries been selected.

Italy here. The document was in French, but it shouldn't be too problematic ...
Unfortunately, since the Southern Front was quickly dropped in favor of Scandinavia, Southern countries left over hadn't their plane selection made at that time.

TDM stands for French "Troupes de Marine", aka Naval Infantry.

The real difficulty of implementing Italy would have been to implement a system that make Italian player to change side depending of the currently winning side. 8-)

It is way past 1990.
Remember, those drafts were made for ALB, which timeline only went to 1985. And the most advanced prototypes included in EE & ALB were 1989 for new vehicles and 1992 for upgrades (Paladin) of existing vehicles.

You mean the Otomatic SPAAG?
We might not have been aware of it by then.
Remeber those lists are almost two years old.

There were but you'll have to wait a bit for:
A/ I have to reorder them a bit because Mediterrean countries were dropped earlier and the files were not well organize.
B/ I'm technically on vacations for a few days, and I'm expecting to enjoy them ... 8-)
