The hostages -- including more than 20 members of the Iraqi Security Forces, local residents and several ISIS fighters accused of spying -- were liberated in the helicopter assault, which involved U.S. special operations troops as well as Kurdish and Iraqi forces, U.S. officials said.

Members of ISIS accused of spying on ISIS for outside parties, which is why they were in an ISIS jail.

Wait, why are they blowing bridges? That seems like a terrible idea to do!

They say IS supplies its forces in Syria and sends columns of jihadwagens trought that bridge, Syrian forces already bombed it few years ago. Curiously, I failed to find that video at official Defence Ministry site.

Someone rolled a support deck and now is down to just one FOB. I miss the days when you could just get a card of 30 -40 supply trucks and forget about the small stuff.
