PGMs are cheaper than men.

Even ludicrously expensive American PGMs can be bought by the dozens for the cost of a single soldier. Especially true for a birth declined post-industrial society like South Korea, where men are not only expensive, but fewer and fewer in number.

Just curious if it's a typo that it's spelled Phanther in the video. Like Fanther?

Dat hydralics bro!

In all seriousness, it looks pretty sweet. Time will tell if it was worth the price tag, but one thing is clear, I would not want to be driving a knock-off T-80 against that...

Hydraulics are worth the cost simply for the off-road stability offered.

Whether they should be adjustable or not depends on how much control you care to offer the driver. Challenger family doesn't bother, and neither did Abrams.

M1s use torsion bars. M1s were supposed to get a hydraulic suspension at one point- the MBT-70 had it, after all- but it was too expensive for the cheap design the M1 was supposed to be.

Chrysler made an XM1 with a hydrogas suspension, hence past tense.

Well, we should not forget that this kind of smart munitions came up as a cheaper alternative to expensive missile system. ;)
