inb4 those same groups saying that climate change deniers lack scientific backing. Apparently science is ok, as long as it isn't too much science.

According to what I understand of this article, not extending Dr. Glover is simply a part of the removal of the whole advising structure that came with the change of President of the European Commission. It appears to me that Mr. Juncker simply wants to appoint his own consultants and use its own organization, like Mr. Barroso and the other presidents did before him.

Unless I've missed some critical information in the article, they are instrumentalising this event to make a cabinet reshuffle looks like the result of a lobbying war (not that the EU is lacking in that field, but still...).
