So I've been looking through some recent posts and seeing a bit of hype for a WW2 wargame (we can only hope). I myself think a WW2 wargame would be amazing. Larger scale battles, crazy nazi prototype weapons, more epic bombing raids, and a whole lot more of that deafening cannon fire I have come to love over time. So how much WW2 wargame hype is there?
I don't know how off topic this is so I decided to put it in the general red dragon area.

Definitely over 9000.
Imagine the allied bomber spam, Soviet Union's T-34 spam or Panzergrenadiere '44 of doom !

Yeah. I think my friend would cry tears of joy if he saw that much T34 spam. Also I would love to see Nazi prototypes like the Odin siege mortar. And Airships (blimps) could add a whole new level of gameplay, they could act as slow moving giant gunships. Allied bomber spam would be amazing, the B17 flying fortress. Oh just imagine the possibilities.

Some people seem to love WWII. I think it's okay, but it's never really interested me, I like more modern stuff personally.
I'd be curious to know why other people find it so fascinating?
