So is this the Arab equivalent to NATO?
And will it have the will to stop ISIS

The remaining governments in the region are clearly getting scared of the fate of Libya and Syria, and the growing influence of Iran. I doubt this will last.
The UAR had nominally unified army as well, and little came out of it.

Arabic bluster as usual.

If it actually came to use it for anything other than beating up some militias *coughYemencough*, it would probably fall apart on it's own.

I can't help but giggle whenever I hear that Saudi-Aribia is taking "Actions" against terrorists in the middle east.

Yes it is a bad sign when militia troops like the Kurds are fighting better than better equipped (apperantly) professional troops

Saudi Arabia taking care of its own dirty work and looking to make a coalition to help them out is all fine and dandy with me. Ever since the Saudis started bombing the rebels in Yemen, that's been fine with me. Maybe, just maybe, we can untangle ourselves from the MidEast once this coalition gets going.

Think you have what it takes to enlist into the military? You sure about that?
