German Army discovers that G36 is not accurate after firing

Postby Aubustou » Tue 7 Apr 2015 15:46

Ok, let's brawl over Germany.

The Bundeswehr just discovered after 20 years that the G36 is prone to be inaccurate after sustained firing. The polymer handle seems to be melt a little too much and poof inaccuracy occurs.

Seems like a bad excuse for another funding cut.

Hasn't this been public knowledge for a while?

Only a matter of time before the HK416 will be adopted then which is probably what they are going for. I can't think of any other viable german rifle.

Well over 10 years, since the XM8 which was built by the same company in a very similar way had exactly the same problem.

The minister seems to have discovered it last year through a BW report.

Soon they will discover that the lack of accuracy is due to the fact that their barrel have been replaced by wooden broomsticks, like on their MG-3 ...

EDIT: Damn, I was ninja'd on the broomstick joke ...

It's not accurate...after 300 shots fired in full auto without a break.

Issue well known for over a year and problems already found.
