Meanwhile, in the mighty USA ...

Postby [EUG]MadMat » Wed 13 May 2015 21:21

For not only North Korea brings us solace with incredibly absurd news ... :D

I just happen to learn that Kinder Surprise, that little brother of the godly Nutella, is banned from the USA for safety hazard reasons. Indeed, some small children could suffocate if they were to eat the small parts used to build the "surprise" in it. Could make some sense ... but what about children choking on a rifle bullet from one of those guns made just for them?

Apparently, some others in the USA had the same idea ... :D

I promise, next time I will try to find something absurd about France to even things.
Germany already has its wooden MG barrels, and with the British royal family, it would be too easy ... ;)

That is awful trigger discipline if you give a kid a gun at least teach her trigger discipline (then how to field strip and to get a touching group at 400 meters)

Wait, you didn't know that?

As for Germany...maybe the fact that trespassing is perfectly legal if you are in the process of chasing your escaped swarm of bees?
And France...isn't it weird enough already that you guys eat frogs?

Bad chocolate anyway to be fair, though in the US it would likely hae been the best given their unnatural bastardization of all things nice in the food industry.

Frogs are very good! Some eat snakes, other rotten games, other sharks, ... some even rotten shark!
I could understand about snails, but there isn't much to say about eating frogs ...

We also have our set of obsolete laws, still in the books but not enforced.
i.e. in France, it is legally forbidden for a woman to wear pants! Napoléon has decreed that, for good moral standards, women were to only wear the clothes of their gender, not masculine ones. It is still in the Code Civil. :D
