Ok so CIAS (Canadian International Airshow) Just announced the lineup, but there are 2 mystery acts and they come with riddles so i need your guys help
#1 This act prefers to take-off and land over water and off of one of the smallest runways in the the world. The most famous celebrity naval aviator may have flown this in the sequel...
#2 Mystery Act #2 is recognizable for its sound, helps people in need and won't have any trouble navigating the airspace in front of the CIAS crowd. Stay tuned for details. We'll update you soon!

That's an Augusta Westland EH101 Merlin for those who are not Canadian.
Does Canada have any Catalina/ canso amphibians?
Celebrity naval aviator well if they mean Eric "Winkle" Brown this could be a problem he has flown just about everything.
there is a privately owned sea harrier in the U.S. so it could be the famous SHAR

A-10, turn rate OP

Re: Riddle time
It's got to be a naval F35 surely. The I'm guessing top gun referance feels obvious.
And I just realised its Canada so f18 but would rather F35

Re: Riddle time
1) Most definitely Super Hornet IMO.. Boeing has been all over non-mil and international air shows this year.. The sequel thing has to be Top Gun reference..
I've seen the Super Hornet demo more times than I have fingers and toes.. it's a lovely demo if you get it.. quite exhilarating.. if you're lucky enough to get a sunset/night demo like MCAS Miramar gets you're in for a real treat.. Afterburner passes are seeexxyyyy..
2) Maybe more american tech.. Maybe Boeing brought along a friend and Bell/Boeing is try'n to sell y'all canucks the V-22
Meets all criteria
Unique Sound
Saves the shit out of people
Has insane versatility and shall have no problem navigatin' anything
