US Supreme Court Legalizes Same Sex Marriage

Well, I got woken up by a phone call this morning from an ex-Army buddy who also lives here in Michigan. Couldn't understand what she was saying at first, but after yelling at her to calm down, she told me that the SCOTUS just ruled in favor of marriage equality.

In even happier news, I've also been invited to a wedding, and now I have to get my ASUs ready for said wedding. I couldn't be happier for two of my fellow Sisters-in-Arms. Well, one I kinda disown, because she's ex-Air Force, but that comes with being a Filthy Zoomie.

I did say slow, but at the rate the gay acceptance rate (like the chart said, the us has got the same approval rate for gay marriage that interacial marriage had in the 90s) has climbed these past 10 years it will eventually very much become a small vocal minority.
