Everyone has their hobbies but music can go a lot deeper. The history, attitude and ethos of music can be really deep. Not to mention that music often ties up within cultural groups. Punks being a decent example back in the day.

That is the favorite song ever of fake gangstas everywhere I swear. Why? Just why? A gunner from a different truck loved to blast that song constantly. I never paid much attention to it, until one day we're all waiting around waiting for SP, and he starts talking about "This is what we listen to for keeping it real in the hood." Someone else asked him where home was, and he answered Detroit.

I instantly perked up, "Where in Detroit?"
Gunner: "Well I'm from down towards..."
me: "No you are fucking not, you are from Sterling Heights."
Gunner: "Wwhhha-whhaa-wwwwhhhhhaaaattt?"
me: "Yeah you are, you talk far too well for someone down in the blocks. You grew up rich in up north in The Heights. Hell for someone as dark as you, you act about as white as me. I haven't heard a touch of real Detroit slang out of your mouth either the entire deployment, so just your whore mouth!"

At this point, pure pandemonium ensues as everyone from every gun truck jumps on him for being called out.

The fact that you survived saying that to him is indication enough of his pampered upbringing :P

On the subject of repeating songs...

Dear radio stations.

You have a library of songs so big, that if I were to play them all back to back, it'd be years before I'd get to the cycle...

Why.. Oh why then, do I have to listen, to the SAME 30 F%&KING SONGS day in and day out, for the next few fucking months! You're a f$%cking DJ for s%#ts sake! Not a singles CD! Get some f$%king variety and diversity in you system! If I wanted a CD, I'd put a f&#cking CD on, and listen to it without those god-awful ads you play between each song!

DO... YOUR.... JOB!!!
