Yawn. This was a weird case, but 99% of the time when people talk about "militarized police" it's simply because SWAT teams exist, or they're using tan equipment sold for pennies on the dollar instead of brand new stuff that is dark blue. Last time I checked, Europe had SWAT teams too, and riot vans, and riot gear, and are quite happy to use all of them. Usually every time some hippies are protesting a G8 summit.
It is also the reason USA has problems with police in the first place but hey, not muh country.
Clearly not "yuh" country since you don't understand any of the issues. SWAT teams using surplus MRAPs instead of boxy armored cars isn't the problem with police in the first place, it's patrol cops - wearing the same cloth uniforms and driving the same black and white patrol cars that they have for 50 years - employing unnecessary deadly force.
I see no incident in the US is serious enough for some people to feel dirty for jerking themselves raw over how superior they are. Most laughable of all is Frencho, whose country literally has their military deployed on their own soil
