Lol, BDSM club arrangement in the towns main student club yesterday, what a culture crash

Lots of older very kinky yet still well dressed people doing their thing (shows, walking the gimps, etc) and a bunch of young students going WTF. best behaved night ever. Apparently these don't just get turned on by dicipline, they inspire it as well.

I'm having flash backs to the first time I walked into one of those fetish clubs while I was in Germany...

Think you have what it takes to enlist into the military? You sure about that?

This is my life. Three hours trying to make the stupid linear actuator I'm using go up and down instead of just up. On the phone with the tech guys, reading through the manual...

Some old EE tech walks in, "have you tried setting it to two-pulse mode?" And it works. I don't understand electrical systems. I could've worked on that thing for the rest of my life and not figured it out.

I'll give you your nine nines polysilicon, you can put shit on it, thank you very much.

I was given general directions, but I had no clue what button was under what tab so I'd have to spend time going through everything just to do something that should take 5 minutes.

I got a second interview for a position. Hopefully I will finally get a full-time job. It is only temporary, and quite low paying for the work load, but that is the public service in a nutshell. If I get it I might be able to eventually move into something permanent. Maybe.

Have you tried that thing that always seems to work on Star Trek, to reverse the polarity?
