Political exploitation has already started here, not only on the fringes...

But whatever, the German Interior Ministry confirmed that a guy arrested in Bavaria, who had MPs and explosives in his car ,was heading to France and had a place in Paris.

That's how it goes. "Now that we know what happened, let me spin it so I look better!"

They (and the EU in general for that matter) have experienced similar before. And you as a russian should know fully well that yours is a hypocritical argument considering your own experience in the matter....

Our experience is what letting us to tell what they did wrong. It was coordinated attack. In 2015. In a country's capital. Do you understand the scale of preparations made by terrorists and with that - scale of f@#$ up of state security forces who missed that preparations? It's not two chechen kids who made up a bomb in their basement, silently, by their own initiative, without letting others know. It's weapon, it's explosives, it's ammo, it's transport, it's cash.

I wouldn't get too judgmental of French security services, chances are something like this will happen to Russia soon.

True.

A French TGV just derailed killing five. A truly horrible weekend for France.

Curious that.

Hollande called the attacks an "act of war." Sounds like the possibility of enacting Article 5, like the US did after 9/11.

Can you blame him though with the Charlie attack, the train attack, this attack, the new train attack, and the factory beheading/bombing, and the killing of police officers.

I don't blame them at all. You know you're real shitbags when the US, Western Europe and Russia are all teamed up against you.

Also, US officials say one American has died in the Paris attacks.

Wouldn't be surprised to see French boots on the ground or article 5...

Do french presidents talk about acts of war in a cavalier way or is this a sign that something's coming?
