Las Malvinas Argentinas??

Postby GBNATO » Tue 29 Mar 2016 14:03

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-35914839

-The government of the Falkland Islands says it is unhappy about a decision by an international commission to expand Argentina's waters to include those around the UK-sovereign lands.

-The move will increase its waters in the South Atlantic Ocean by 35%.

-The area is potentially rich in oil.

Is Argentina cruising for a bruising? Is the exciting announcement of the hotly awaited sequel to 1982's critically acclaimed 'Falklands' just around the corner? Time will tell.

Let them, the RN could use some practice, not that I imagine the Argies could land uncontested (or at all) these days.

Sometimes I wish that Argentina had 20b USD in cash for a rearmament program, so that we would see a modern non nuclear war.

Dunno, blowing those islands up might be the best way to ease tensions in that part of the world.
