T-72A? M? M1?

I doubt they'd leave T-72Bs behind...

I don't think they'd be T-72Ms or M1s.

T-72A seemed to be the Soviet go to tank for units that they didn't want to waste T-80s on but needed to upgrade from T-62s and T-55s.
Give the MiG-19PFM its 5600m Missile back!!
If Someone could tell the drivers of the T-72M1M's and T-72B's to close their hatches, cheers.

I can't find anything about Cuban T-72's.

Edit; well done sites say they exist but there's no pictures. Claimed to be T-72M1's.

If they were left behind by the Soviets then surely they'd be versions they were actually using, no? Surely not Ms then.

T-72M1 approximates the appearance and capabilities of the T-72A's hypothetically left behind and thus could dbe confused with T-72M1.

Some sources give the names of Cuban T-72's as T-72M1 and T-72M1, noting that they're not the Soviet tanks called T-72M1, but instead "Cuban T-72 Model 1/2".

According to that, it seems Cuba received regular T-72's while Venezuela were the ones to receive T-72B1's

Unknown what type they were exactly, the chart is there to show they have T72s at all.
