Autonomous Kurds and ISIS are not the reason Iraq isn't a full democracy. They are just symptoms of the real issue. It's the central government in Baghdad and the cultural and historical bias towards corruption and authoritarian ideals that make Iraq what it is.

I think the greatest irony is how the USA put into power some deeply corrupt people into power in Iraq, and then some people turn around and blame the Iraqis that shit isn't going as well as we would like it to.

Then there's A-stan... sigh.

Think you have what it takes to enlist into the military? You sure about that?

Iran is, technically speaking, a democracy as well, no? With Islamist twist but democracy nevertheless.

Maybe if Israel stopped doing things in need of condemning, maybe we would stop condemning them mmm?

I doubt it. You people seem to love the double standard. Never heard a kiwi condemn the brutality of the terrorist movement against Israel in the UN. Like ever. Or Hamas in general. But they find plenty of time to sponsor resolutions to pick on the Israelis it seems. At Christmas no less. But good job. I'm sure you kiwis are patting yourselves in the back like the rest of the Palestinian symps.

You don't know many Kiwi's then, do you?

Of course not, but that's not going to stop you from acting like you know more about a country than the people currently living in it like you normally do...

You can vote for the president and parliament, but the final say will always be had by some old religious zealot...
