Re: World news thread
So what does else do the pro-brexit people want exactly besides leaving the EU? Countries like Norway and Switzerland seem to be doing well along with Iceland.

This thing in practice means we have to follow most EU regulations.
Pro-Brexiters have made it clear they don't want anything like this and use us as worst case example scenarios

Viker for ingen!

I wouldn't be so sure about that.

After being bailed out ofcourse, Iceland is doing well

But it depends on who you ask.

Have pretty accurate articles on several of the reasons people voted leave imo.
In the latter of Mathew Parris comment, this has already been shown to be incorrect by certain EU politicians saying how if the UK voted stay they would have heavily pushed for more federalisation, as even with Brexit they are pushing for it now.

From North Korea:

It really seems like the two options for North Korea are:
1. Accept their nuclear deterrent
2. Go to war beforehand

Their first test was in 2006. We're past accepting it now.

Yep, I don't think that North Korea can be freedomized without nuclear detonations on the peninsula. Kim Jung Un now has a deterrent against the US and RoK. What a world.

That was built up to be alot higher then it actually was, kind of akin to "all who didnt vote clinton are sexist racists" type thing.
As for Korea, it comes down to this, is a nuclear blast in the region acceptable in comparason to the potential risk of the country 1) striking anyway and 2) the potential risk of them giving said information to others whom we dont want having it. I would not be suprised if Trump actually did consider a first strike option as on the table alongside China, as China will be the country having to suffer the fallout (literally) 1 can argue that the status quo is no longer acceptable to them, either way nothing will happen without China.
