Yeah no kidding. Usually with those types of videos the sound quality is trash, but that was pretty awesome.

Why would they ever do this?
We've been nothing but supportive of them and their troops since the end of WW1, I had family that lived in England and would make a it a thing to go there every year. It's truly sad...
Nothing to do with support, the whole point is revisionism to get juicy internal politics points just like Russia with WW2 or France with Napoleon.

They dont think, they just want to power grab and force everyone to submit to them, the number 1 thing all zealot power mongers do is destroy and replace history with their own version, the next is to indoctrinate, then finally to demonize the outsiders as a constant threat.
People laughed at me a few years back when i said that Turkey is going to be a problem for NATO if shit keeps going down the road it is, well, does NATO truely want to keep these crazies in it? Risking the NATO alliance, the EU, etc? Turkey will be the problem of tomorrow.
Erdogan doesn't strike me as much a theocracy type guy like what they had in Iran. Erdogan seems to be more like your average dictator who more concerned about it himself. Like some kind of Turkish Caesar where he seems himself as a god and rules with divine power and just uses the islamists and reactionaries to get where he wants.

Ah, ok. I'm not a native speaker so idioms can be confusing. Took me a while to remember all the code-names for letters in Morse Code...
