Imagine the iran iraq war never happen

And while we're at it, we can imagine a united Germany coalition, like WWII never happened.

And then Austria-Hungry, like WWI never happened.

I think Iraq would be pretty fun and enjoyable nation even alone, without Baathist Alliance. It wouldnt be something for competitive (ranking) gameplay, as some of new DLC nations are, sure. But still Iraq's weakest link - the tankforce would be better than lets say Norway, Danmark or ANZAC ones.

Syria on other hand provides more competitive tank tab, infantry ATGMs and some sweet candys like MiG-23MLS - the MiG-23MLD on steroids.

You could argue If it was to take out Israel they might be willing to join forces, but as soon as something went wrong (which it would) they would at each others throats.

Though I will add as a campaign it would be great Iraq and Iran attack through neutral Jordan while Syria keeps Israel occupied in the Golan heights. If you add a bit of USSR pressure along with a few 'volunteers' with jets and tanks.
Also If it was made as 2 part campaign with the first part where you play as the Jordanian military performing a rear guard action to the Israeli border. Depending on how you do decides enemy strength and readiness in part 2 as well as if the Jordanian units are combat effective or destroyed. Part 2 would be a bit like 2nd Korean war with you playing defensive then trying to counter attack but without the massive French and German counter attack!

Also No its not all my own work its basically a modified campaign from Jane's Israeli air force

Found somewhat rare and cool video from dated 1988. It has heavy orange tint and low resolution but thats actually somewhat authentic and flavourful

Saddam Hussein inspecting some of domestic military products/modifications:
-It begins with Baghdad-1 an iraqi AWACS based on Il-76MD, equpped with french radars.
-Falcon-50 Susanna civil passenger jet conversion equipped with 2 Exocet and radars from Mirage.
-MBB Bo-105 helicopter
-MiG-23ML modified to carry Exocets
-Iraqi UAV prototype
-unidentified rocket/more probably pod
-some Unimog truck mounted electronic equipment
-BMP-1 Saddam together with addon armor plates ballistic tests results(YAY :D )
-Some river float system for UAZ jeep(and generally light vehicles)??? Or maybe its tracked UAZ for casual desert rides    ??? UAZ acting as current generator??? Thoughts welcomed.
-And finally the T-55 Enigma tank.

If someone who can arabic would translate what military guides are explaining about their equipment, i would be grateful :)

One more example of iraqis modifiyng their equpment: the MiG-29 9.12B.
9-12B the export modification for non-Warsaw Pact countries. It could not carry BVR-missiles on all wing mounts, only on 1+2(inner) hardpoints. Iraqis however modified (3+4) intermediate wing hardpoints with APU-470 launchers for R-24R BVR missiles. So there larger BVR loadout possible for iraqi MiG-29 unlike all the other countries with 9.12A/B versions.

Further MiG-29 changes included some buddy-to-buddy refuelling versions and possibilty of carrying external fuel tanks on inner hardpoints.

This was a limitation of the original MiG-29 9.12 that Russia used as well. The connector required for the R-27R was only on the inboard pylons. The 9.13S added R-77 capability to all pylons, but R-27R/Er/T/ET was still limited to the invoard pylons.

So basically, wiring from the 9.15 and fuel line changes from the 9.13.
