The one made only for consoles? How appropriate...

You know that health packs were a thing, right? You used them to replenish your health. Maybe want to go play Half-Life again (or Black Mesa) as a reminder.
No need for CoD supermen regenerating health.

The original CoD had no extra health at all. On the hardest difficulty it meant you had to beat the mission and could only take a handful of hits (2-5 often). I beat that game three times on the hardest difficulty.

It's not superman regeneration health, they all are using nanosuits, it's just they are invisible, that's why you can't see, and since they were prototypes you couldn't use superspeed or superstrenght or superarmor.

-Cold War (mid 1980s) era FPS (preferably a battlefield game)
-Wargame 4
-LAV-AD
-Battle: Los Angeles 2 (if only for a continuation of the universe, it was an interesting premise)
-lots of sequels to previous books (most of these are in the works, I'm just impatient  )
-countless stories that authors have either moved on from or just stopped updating
-World in Conflict 2
-The Division 2 (or just something that fixes the first one)

Why would you want to curse your game in such a way?

Maybe something more like Red Orchestra or Squad.

Those would also work. Or, a battlefield game could bring attention to the timeframe, and other companies can follow in its path.
