Sorry, I am just sharing ideas...

If there's no one interested it will be that there's nothing interesting...

Sorry, I haven't the knowledge to do it by myself, this is why I am sharing ideas.

No problem.

Well, I haven't had any opinion about the text.

I have had answers in other forums and they have told me about those ones

rimworld for indirect pawn control
paradox games for abstracted battles/war plans
ZK for semi-intelligent units
Gratuitous Space/Tanks Battles
Populous

they just have some things about what I am talking, but there's not the essence.

Thanks.

This looks like some sort of copypasta spam.

Oh well, first post to the forums, we should all welcome him properly. Who has some soap? I've got some socks...

Think you have what it takes to enlist into the military? You sure about that?

I just want to share my words, sorry if you don't find them interesting.

I am just sharing to see if it can be someone who thinks that some thing can be interesting.

I think that your way of receiving it, it's just showing contempt. They are just words.

Thanks

Okay, here's a serious response: Why would I wish to play a game that plays itself? If you don't give me control over the units then I don't have enough agency to keep me playing the game rather than just wandering off for a cup of tea. If you give me control over the units and I'm better than the AI then it's just a normal RTS except with autobuild and sometimes my units wander off on their own unless I can set them not to. If you build an RTS where I can take control of the units and the AI is actually better at the game than a human with the same units then you should go and have a chat with your local Defence Research Agency because I think they would be very pleased but very insistent that you don't distribute the game .

Also, why would someone make a game for you, using your ideas, when they could be making a game for them using their ideas?

If you're looking for recommendations take a look at the major game series in these forums, Wargame. You'll notice that it breaks the base building/resource gathering paradigm to focus entirely on the combat. You're not the General, you're the Brigadier. If you've never played it, pick up Red Dragon next time there's a sale. You could also try World in Conflict, our spiritual liege, which has the same combat focus in an even tighter package. It's getting on though, I think the servers are closed down now. Finally, Eugen are about to announce a new title that's probably WW2 based and probably not a typical RTS since their last one crashed and burned. Keep an eye open!
What if Wargame stuck to timeframe?
