Hmm, deck creation sounds, frankly, a bit gamey (purposefully more complex than it needs to be and at a cost in fun).

Sounds like a lot of smerks will be hard to bring to the battlefield and they will require a LOT of space to field the same goes for good 155mm artillery :-)

Arty spam might be gone :-)

Hate to play with arty spammers on my team, they always empty my FOBs and do too little damage to really help, and rarely hold their part of the front for long.

Nah, it will just balance the game to be more fun and varied than WG:EE. Now you really have think about what you want instead of just cherrypicking all good units to the deck, which will result in greater variety in playable decks.

Promet :) Moar Pact autocannons! And Mi-8 zaop., cheap supply chopper, finally.
But... "3D View" :? We need mod tools to correct this obvious mistake.

What is a Promet? A prototype MT LB with a AA 23mm gun? Because it is quite interesting to have a MANPAD team in a transport which also has an AA capability.

It will make balance that much more difficult. Not only do units have to be balanced against each other (price, # available) as they are now, but it adds another variable--different categories of decks.

With all the unit balancing difficulties that are inherent in such a game, I think it needlessly overcomplicates things and will make it even more difficult to have "balance."

Still no devblog or info about the single player campaign. Guess I won't be pre-ordering come Wednesday.
