Well, this is exciting. I enjoyed AoA at first, but I strayed away as the game lost luster to me.
I'm very eager to see what new models get throw in.
Guessing the M8 is a replacement for the out of the blue light tank prototype that the scorpion was based off of.

Re: ANNOUNCING “ACT OF AGGRESSION: REBOOT EDITION”!
Is there any chance that some aspects of the single-player campaign will be re-examined or overhauled?
I'm fascinated by a return to 'Old-School RTS', but only in respect to the single-player experience. I own a lot of classic RTS games - StarCraft, Age of Empires, Command & Conquer - but I haven't ever spent much time online with any of them; I play for the campaign mode.
I was pondering whether to pick up Act of Aggression when it came out, but I was almost immediately put off by how many reviews highlighted the rough edges and low production values on the main campaign - the general suggestion was that, as with Red Dragon, you were basically wasting your money if you bought it for anything other than multiplayer.
I certainly don't expect miracles post-production. But if this overhaul were to clean up the presentation, and perhaps add some more interesting gameplay mechanics to the single-player gameplay, then I might be willing to pick up a copy of the 'Reboot Edition' when it comes out.

They already said campaign will receive nothing as they would need to rebuild it whole.
But you will get a new skirmish mode.
Also while the campaign might not be worth the full price this game is already being sold in Steam sales for 50% off. It is worth that price.

Re: ANNOUNCING “ACT OF AGGRESSION: REBOOT EDITION”!
Will there be a standalone AoA Reboot edition or is it always part of a separately section of the AoA game? Because I am curios if i should by now the AoA game or wait for the reboot edition. Up to now I can nowhere see a release date for the AoA Reboot game. What would you suggest wait for Reboot or buy the Original AoA because the reboot is anyway integrated?

Pretty sure you need the base AoA to play the reboot.
It's like a free expansion pack, like firestorm for tiberian sun, or yuri's revenge for Red Alert 2.
