Wargame unveils impressive multiplayer trailer!

Postby Vince » Fri 10 Feb 2012 11:12

Dive into the multiplayer modes and online services of Wargame: European Escalation!

The real-time strategy game developed for PC by Eugen Systems (R.U.S.E.™, Act of War) today unveils its multiplayer modes and its online functionalities made possible thanks to EugenNet, with an impressive two and a half minute video.

Commented by Alexis Le Dressay, Creative Director of Eugen Systems, this trailer will help players discover the unique dimension of this new strategy game. Its huge, ultra-detailed battlefields, which display over 100 million partially destructible and flammable objects, offer intense battles on a realistic scale -- up to 150 km²! As many as eight players may battle together during online matches; from 1-on-1 to 4-against-4, all configurations are possible. The game is backed by online features reinforcing social networking and interactions between players. All this and more is explained in this new video for Wargame: European Escalation.

One bit of last minute news – players who preorder the game online via the official website or Steam will be granted today exclusive access to the new multiplayer Beta. This last beta will allow testing the multiplayer and undergo the final tuning required for Wargame, before its full launch on February 23rd!

To be more precise guys, we will unleash the beta as soon as possible. Normally the players who pre-ordered through the official shop should be the first to have access to the beta. And later players who pre-ordered through Steam.

Wargame is coming !

Wow. That has to be the worst way of handling things, what a way to alienate your playerbase.

I really, really, really hope for the sake of the entire player base, you meant to say that ''normally the players who pre-ordered through the official shop should be the first to have access to the beta. And later players who pre-ordered through Steam, but this is not the case. Instead, everyone get the game at the same time''

I bought the game, and now I'm gonna have to wait more because I bought it from Steam? Jeeez, come on guys! You can do better than that!

You get points when you capture the sector. Number on each sector means how many points you get every 4 seconds. You capture sectors by placing there command vechicles, they have to be still to capture. When there are two opposing command vechicles on any sector it remains uncaptured.
