I'm not particularly concerned about the peanut gallery, but I do hope this receives a solid reception. I think ol' RUSE suffered a bit of a harsh go due to release window, as well as the irksome cloud of people thinking "Ubisoft-published" equalled "Ubisoft DRM", despite the fact concerted efforts were made state the truth.

A shame, but hey, the right people played the game.

Well the peanut gallery is important to a certain degree if we want to see more of wargame People need to be aware of the game to buy it

As to Ruse, i think the issue was less DRM, more that it was a rather shallow RTS due to the needs of consoles.

The game will have a single player campaign (4 campaigns with 4 missions each if I recall correctly) that's for sure.

But if you're asking if we'll be able to try them in the beta, we don't know but I wouldn't count on it...

Edit: just realized, you probably were talking about skirmishes against AI and not the campaign. That will most certainly be in the game (well like any decent RTS game.)

I sure hope it is this week, as I am really looking forward to this game. Can't wait to see if this game lives up to the hype.
