Help me use Pact Tanks better

In particular the T-72 and Kpzr-T72 series.

Mainly if someone could give me a quick rundown on general uses of the tanks of the Pact side.

Not sure why but since the patch I can't seem to get a hang for Pact tanks (admittedly during the Heavy Meta I couldn't either).

Basically right Now I focus on bringing in T-62M1+ for the atgm (2 at the beginning of a battle) alongside T72 (base variant) for heavy support as well as one T80 BV (or U depending on points) at the beginning of a match.

I am finding that my T-62s and T80s are handling themselves well (even T-64s, though I can never find the right variant for the right situation. Usually I call in T-64As as reactionary response if I need more guns on the firing line). But with the T-72s I am having trouble. I normally use them to help infantry in close support, or if I fear a position will be over run by heavies I try and get 8-12 of them on the flanks of the enemy push and rush them to close range. The problem I'm finding is that they're so innacurate against tanks that I've decided until I can learn how to use them they'll only be used for anti-infantry duties.

Can someone please offer me more or less of a class by class and variant by variant use of Pact tanks? Obviously things like T-34s I won't be using so those I don't need info on, as well as the ASU-85 and Su-122-54 (which I tried and love, I just need more actual tanks in my deck).

You tottaly doing anything wrong. Look how do it ritgh:
Take 2 t-80. They will be your knights.
Then take 4 t-62M-1. They wil be your archers.
Then take full vet KPz T-55 or 2 vet KPz T-55AM. More. More. More. No points? Ok, that's enough.
if you meet something that your T-55 can't kill, T-80 will. If it's something that can kill t-80 use T-62. Dont forget about supply.

Generally, don't use them (T-72s). The 72B is a good ATGM tank.

Never let T-72's stop and shoot at targets at maximum range.

They have their place as meatshields with a decent gun and for infantry support, vis-a-vis using empty BTRs as meatshields.

Always use a field artillery. 3 Malkas optimally.
Then you can knock out enemy ATGM or stun his heavy tanks.

I've played with using T-72A's as my "cheap gun tank" instead of T-64A's. Seems okay so far, the T-72's stabilizers, better armor and fuel efficiency are really attractive even if you lose out a bit on accuracy and rate of fire.
