T-72 by 40pts has better armor and better AP than any nato tank of the same price range, with vet 1 you get by just 10pts more some advantages that balance the tank. it has not the T64A ROF but still manage 4HE able to kill infantry and much better at holding enemy fire. Chieftain MK2 by same price has better accuracy but lot worse speed, T72's accuracy can be fixed with vets, chieftain's speed can't.
T-72A by 60pts, vet 1 (75pts)= T64B - 4 mediocre ATGMs -4ROF + much better side and rear armor + better stab + better optics + better operational range + better morale +50% main gun ammo + Better HMG. if you get vets during the battle T72A is a tank able to face other heavier tanks, I.E. T72A if vet2 could face in 1vs1 a M1 abrams and have serious chances of win.
T-72B by 120pts, is good enough, get's the T80 main gun(rof included) + a very good ATGM, better than T80A IMO.
Torrisco i must tell you that T-72B is one of the worst atgm tanks ever seen IMHO, it never worth its price... we are talking about a 120 points tank with a 7 frontal armour... never use them, T-72 series is not bad but today i've removed them from my deck and BMP 645 came to the deck again. I need accurated weapons... a big armour only means that you'll survive more before diying, cause a tank with that acc if it's stunned must be awful causing damage.
